Raised in Florida, Laurel has been a photographer for the past two decades. Starting in the 35mm film era with shooting concerts and music festivals across the Southeast, she honed her skills with capturing light and action in a challenging and ever-changing environment. Later, with the transition to digital, she was able to move towards her true photographic passion: photographing the natural world.

As a student of both biology and geology, Laurel has boundless enthusiasm and curiosity for the world around us. Whether beneath the surface of the sea or high in the mountains, she seeks to create images that show her passion for this beauty and share it with others.

Her work has been featured in both local and national publications, including the NY Daily News, Relix Magazine, Brevard Live, and others. Her photography has also been displayed at local art shows in Florida.
